The bump on my wrist began to sweat and hurt

I've had a bump where you take your pulse - palm side up, for as long as I can remember. Over the last 6 years, I've gained 50 ppounds and the bump migrated to the right side of my wrist. The lump began to grow and then it became painful. It's always been hard and moveable. Last year, the bump began to sweat when my forehead sweats. When I get a hot flash, and my head sweats - only the bump is sweating too. Last week, I began to get pulsing shooting paint through the bump.  What could this bump be? Some said it's a "bible bump", but that's what I thought it was before it began to sweat

It sounds like a ganglion cyst.
