Throat tightness for the past 4 months

I've had a weird throat tightness happening since April. It started every few days to every other day and now it's everyday. I'm fine in the morning when I wake up but by the afternoon it's there. Some days its just a slight bother but somedays it's so intense my ears are starting to hurt. It has started to effect my sleep since by the time night time comes around I'm so uncomfortable it's hard to sleep. It was initially diagnosed as Gerd by an urgent care dr but after being on omeprazole & making dietary changes my PCP determined that was not the case. I've had labs done for my thyroid. Had a thyroid ultrasound, had a Barium Swallow Test and seen a speech pathologist. All my tests have come back clean and they have not seen any blockages or muscle weakness. I would just like to know if this sound familiar to anyone or if anyone has any advice on what are the next steps I should talk to my pcp about? I have a follow up apt next week and am at a loss.

Hi just passingthrough. It has been a bit since you posted.  Hope you are actually doing better than when you wrote this. Wondering about allergies and some dripping back there that causes the throat issue?
