Totally confused and frustrated. Want guidance!
Following a bout of Otitis Media in Oct 08, I've suffered from ETD, pain in temples and bridge-of-nose, lightheadedness,  itchy throat, burning in eyes, dry mouth, increased thirst, frequent urination, occasional diarrhea, occasional insomnia, and a terrible feeling of malaise and low-energy. My temperature is always normal, but i still  feel like i have a fever. Symptoms vary daily in severity, but I've had them constantly for the past 6 months.

I have seen specialists and had following testing/treatment :

1.  Sinus CT scan (early-Dec) shows mild mucosal thickening of maxillary sinus and deviated septum. I was treated with 10 days of Azythromycin (6-PAK) and 6 wks of Veramyst, but it did not help at all.
2.  A Brain MRI (mid-Jan) which showed no problem with the brain, but did show mild mucosal thickening of ethmoid and maxillary sinus
3.  Vertigo and Audiogram testing was mostly normal, except slight nystagmus in left eye. I did left canalith re-positioning for 2 weeks, but it didn't help at all..
3.  Recently (late-Feb) I tested positive for allergic rhinitis (skin test) to dust-mites, trees and grasses, and allergist has put me on Nasonex, Astelin and Claritin, and I've dust-proofed my house (but still have a lot of carpeting). She also suggests allergy shot if things don't improve.
4.  Sleep study (mid-Feb) was negative
5   Comprehensive Blood Test (late-Jan) was normal, except slight elevation of Lymphocytes (37) and ESR (13). ANA was negative and TSH was 0.43.
My ETD has gotten much better due to Astelin, but all else is as bad as day one.  I'm very confused on which direction to go in next. Can all this really be only due to allergies?  I'm skeptical because some of my symptoms like dry mouth and frequent urination don't seem to add up.  Also, I don't sneeze or have a runny nose.

Could this be something serious like cancer ?  What should i do next? I am an otherwise healthy and active 30 y/o male. I have a good life and am not depressed.

You have been through a pretty comprehensive evaluation, and major diseases like cancer would have been seen with the studies you have already had.

I agree with the MRI and CT scan, as well as the allergy testing.

Seeing an allergist can be considered to consider allergy shots to help with sensitivity to trees, dust mites, and grasses.

Regarding the frequent urination, blood tests to exclude diabetes and thyroid dysfunction, as well as a urine test to exclude an infection should be done.

Chronic dry mouth can be indicative of Sjogren's syndrome.  A negative ANA makes this less likely, but if this disease is suspected, a referral to a rheumatologist can be considered.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
