Undiagnosed Gagging Attacks

My little boy has the following happen to him whenever he does not eat anything with sodium in it for a while (Drs say his tests show his sodium level is fine) - His stomach gets hot and hurts, his throat closes up, he grabs his throat and says between gasps that he can't breath, his face is beet red and everytime I think he's going to die. It will last until 10 minutes after I can put salt or broth in his mouth.

Over 50 Drs and EMT's have witnessed this, so anybody with any insight will be forever revered in my eyes. We can not get any answers.

I sent you a PM as well but he may have a condition that I was recently diagnosed and treated for called Iliac Vein Compression. I had the same problems as a kid although not nearly as bad. It would explain the stomach pain and somehow closing of the airways. I'm 38 now and recently had a stent placed at the compression site and my breathing has greatly proved. So somehow it could all be related to this common but rarely diagnosed condition.
