Upper abdomen

Hi
I have always suffered with mild discomfort about 3inches above my belly button. The discomfort is central and sometimes slightly to the right side.
This has been going on for 20years. My GP said I had a duodenal ulcer and treated it with omperazole this was 15 years ago. Jumping forward to present day and my symptoms have changed over the last few weeks. I now have a more dull discomfort that is ok when resting, however when I move it can be quite painful. I have also been getting very dizzy and lightheaded when moving aswell. My body feels shaky and my legs are
Ike jelly. I have also lost my appetite and weight and had terrible diaherra. I visited my GP and he says I have gastroenteritis and the symptoms should pass. My GP wouldn't give me antibiotics and asked me to send a stool sample, which I am waiting on the results of. However the symptoms are not passing and I'm not getting better, I am not getting any worse either. Normally I shake things in a couple of weeks, but seem to be struggling with this. I am also getting a little paranoid that it maybe a cancer of some sort.
Anyone else going my symptoms or have any idea what is happening to me?
Thanks

There are a couple common but rarely diagnosed vein compression disorders that could be causing all of the problems you're having. They are not necessarily serious but will cause some pretty unpleasant symptoms due to collateral veins carrying blood around the compression sites. Some of them are Nutcracker Syndrome which can cause compression of the Left Renal Vein or Duodenum. Another one more closely related to the problems and pain you have is Celiac Ganglion Compression Syndrome that causes lightheadedness, loss of appetite, diarrhea and many other problems. I have one called May-Thurner Syndrome and have done some research into these conditions to know that they can cause just about any undiagnosed abdominal problems of the body. Unfortunetely most doctors know very little about these or worse yet still believe they don't exist! If you have any questions or want more info feel free to private message me.
