Urinating often, but very little comes out

I have been having the urge to urinate quite often, but when I go very little comes out. I have no pain or burning when I urinate, I drink a normal amount of water(8-12 cups)everyday, no pain any where in my body. I went to the doctor and they did some urine tests, but they all came back normal. The doctor said she would run some more tests and get back to me if anything is wrong. Has anyone experienced this before?

I always wondered about members with the "wrong" gender on their profile.
This is a classic example of it being an issue.
No problem.
Try some cranberry juice and see if it helps.
It's  possible it's a UTI infection that got missed.

Best wishes,
Niko

Hmm, your symptoms are usually associated with prostatitis for younger men, or UTIs for the general population but often there's some degree of pain or discomfort experienced.

There's the possibility that if it is a bacterial infection, the test missed the
bacteria, if the bacteria were hiding in creases/pockets of the prostate.

Did your doctor do a "digital" examination to feel the prostate?
If not, she should do one, specially if the other results come back negative as well.

I had prostatitis in my younger days and  my symptoms were  exasperated because I was doing heavy weight training, eating spicy foods and engaging in intense sexual activity.
In a way you could say I asked for it,lol!

Best wishes.

Sorry I didn't specify, but I am a female. All my tests came back normal soo I am just SOL. I am still experiencing the urinating problem. I guess I will just have to make another appointment.
I just realized my gender was set to male on my profile. oops!
