Urination problems

My husband is 30 years old and is healthy aside from having high blood pressure. For the past 4 years my husband has had problems while urinating. At first he had burning while urinating. Throughout the years, the burning persists and has increase in frequency and decreased in flow/stream. At times he has spotted blood. Recently he has noticed he has leaked from his anus.

The doctors have tried all types of exams and medications and nothing has worked. Any advice would help.
Thanks!

My husband has been seeing a urologist. They have not found anything. They have giving him medication for urinary and bladder infections, kidneys and prostate. The only condition he has is blood pressure. His parents have diabetes. He has had sonograms, and prostate exams and nothing has been found. The only thing that makes it a little better is motrin. I think I will seek a different urologist. right now I am trying natural remedies.

Your husband need to go back to the doctor for a referral to a urologist.

The sensation of burning whilst urinating can be from a bladder infection and from very acidic urine.

Seeing blood in the urine in men can be from a urinary tract infection or stones and also from a prostate problem.

Another reason for increase in frequency can be from the prostate gland being enlarged and also from diabetes.

Get your husband to make an appointment with his doctor for a referral to a urologist, and blood tests taken to check his blood for diabetes, liver and kidney function and prostate problems.

He leaking from the anus may be from diverticular disease.  This needs looking into as well.

Best wishes.

hi.
i am so sorry to hear about the complications your husband is having. i will do my best to make you understand each step of the way of your husband's conditions but before that, help me answer the following questions:

1. have you gone for any clinical tests like STD's tests and urine analysis?
2. what kinds of medications has he been using since the problem started?
3. does your husband have any familiar history of relatives who have the same symptoms?
4. when he spotted blood, was it associated with passing of shreds as well or was it fresh blood along.
5. has he ever had urine incontinence or can he postpone urination when he feels the urge to go for it?
6. lastly, does he strain when he urinate and is there any other part of the body that is aching like a back or waist?

I will be in touch
