Weakness and hot flashes

Hello,  I am a 35 yof, I had a complete hysterectomy in October of last year due to alot of different problems.  (My uterus was attached to my abdominal wall and endometriosis and my tube was twisted and attached to itself with adhesions causing alot of pain) Lately I have been having what I think is hot flashes and just general weakness and lightheadedness and frequent urination at times.  My head just feels dizzy and the hot flashes mainly affect the top of my body face chest and arms.  Also, and I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I have had excessive mouth watering...to the point where when trying to sleep it runs from my mouth...not normal.I do have a history of hypertension and take medication for it.  I also am on a hormone patch since my surgery.  I just overall do not feel good.  I work as a dispatcher and work nights...it's all I can do to stay here tonight because I feel so badly.  Can you suggest anything?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
It looks like a case of improper hormone replacement post surgery. Especially since you work night shifts, you’ll need to discuss this with your gynecologist. You can try food rich in estrogen. The list is available at: http://dogtorj.net/id46.html
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 31 yr i had yrs of hot flashes and i was on HRT for 11 yrs. I am now 50 and still have the occasional hot flash or night sweats it gets better with time the generalized weak feeling and frequent urination i think comes with the change of life which you'll probably go thru slowly. Take care and go slow but if your lightheadedness don't stop tell your dr maybe your meds are too strong or not strong enough. Good luck!
