Weakness(whole body) Naseau, Diahrhea

I have a complete body weakness (arms, legs etc), Have had nausea for 6-8 mos, Diahhrhea(last 2 weeks straight and on/off for the last 8 mos), Everyday headache (last 1+ week). My weakness/fatigue has gotten really bad in the last week. And a pain in my LEFT side (below ribs)

Tests Ive had done over the last few weeks/mos:
Colonoscopy,Endoscopy, The XRAYS (lower bowel) where you drink that white barium. ultrasound,TB Skin test (negative) HIV Test(negative) and REGULAR CBC Tests and Metabolic blood tests (nothing comes up) I am on synthroid (I was on 175mcg (about 9 mos ago)and it was to high and just lowered to 125mcg this week)

I was on XANAX .5mg 2x/day and bentyl, this got rid of my weekness for about 2 weeks (placebo effect) Does anyone have ANY Suggestions at all ? the weakness I have is practically killing me !!!

Yup, very tough diet. The problem is that is not really getting better.
I feel some what better when Im on the diet but not all the symptoms go.

Also, when I drink alcohol, I get alot of ulcers in my mouth which I cant explain

Ive lost alot of weight since ive been on this diet and you tend to eat healthy which is a good thing.
I suppose that we do worry alot about HIV expecially when they dont find any problems, but if tests are negative, then its negative

"I was diagnossed with celiac disease but ive been on the gluten free diet for 5 months and nothing has helped."

Isn't that diet tough ? I don't have Celiac disease, but have an intolerance to gluten. My physician has told me that not everyone who has an intolerance to gluten, has Celiac disease. He obviously was right because some of my symptoms had improved and I found out later that many people with my condition have an intolerance to gluten.

Are you buying the rice flour and the rice breads ? Its a tough diet to follow...

I know they have done thyroid (because im on synthroid)
no other std stests have been done, Cant be HIV because there are to many symptoms with HIV that I dont have/havent had plus the test was neg. If its neg and I havent had sex for 9 mos since the test, it would be super rare to have a false neg, fals positives happen here and there and a retest can confirm, we all just assume that when we are sick 'it must be HIV' Ive read some of the forums on it, im sure now it also isnt that. I thin they do a B12 i a regular cbc test. I know my doc drew blood again yesterday (the 23rd) 2 tubes One to check cbc and another I think he said for potassium, plus I had to do the stool samples in a tube dropping them off today. Another thing is im up at 7am weather I wanna be or not, I wake up then and cant get back to sleep, usually I like to get up at like 8-9,lastly thing that suck more is no hlth ins and I have to pay cash everytime I see my doc or have a test done;(

I also worried about hiv because nothing is picked up and yet a person feels like hell all the time.
I was diagnossed with celiac disease but ive been on the gluten free diet for 5 months and nothing has helped.
Now they say they are not sure what it can be.
Anyways, I feel for you and know wht you are going through.Have they done routine tests like Vitamin B12, Thyroid checks, other std tests?

Just saw my doc a lil bit ago, he drew 2 more blood tests (I forget what they were for offhand... 1 was for CBC)

I also found out on my last CBC tests (bout 3 weeks ago) that my WBC is a little low (still within range from 4.3-10.X(it was like around a 5.Something.

My throat is a little soar and ears inside a lil red so he put me on 10 days of augmentim, also ordered a stool sample. Checking for CDIFF and also electrolytes (cause of the diahrea I guess)

Storm/Platelet I do appreciate your replies :)

Weight that ive lost in the last 3-4 weeks is about 10-13lbs but this is partly due to the fact that ive stopped drinking soda ;)

My doc really hasnt ruled out anything other than the obvious abouve which ive had tests for. Cant really be anything to do with HIV since I tested neg a week or so ago and my last sexual encounter was back in the end of NOV last yr.

Has your physician checked your cortisol level and/or ACTH level and ruled out Addison's disease ?

You have had a pretty comprehensive evaluation which would rule out many of the major causes for the symptoms.

Regarding the diarrhea, the stool can be sent for fat analysis - which would rule out malabsorption.  A blood test for celiac disease can also be considered.

More specialized tests for the nausea can also be considered.  This can include a gastric emptying scan looking for gastroparesis or a 24-hr pH study looking for GERD.

I would also image the abdomen with a CT scan to evaluate the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
