Weird feeling

I have this recurring thing happening in my back. I've had back pain on the left side, down low, just above hip area for a long time. "soft tissue damage" no changes in over 5 years. The last 6 or so months, I was occasionally getting this feeling but now it is more like several x's a week. I get a strange feeling in my spine, lower back. Not particularily painful, but strange, but it will make my legs go weak-either/or/both and most recently it feels like my arms are affected too. I dread bending over at all. It is uncomfortable and weird, but not really painful. If it is related, I have a difficult time laying down on either side for more than an hour or so. My hips ache to the point of tears. If I lay on my back, I get a severe pain down the front of my right leg. Walking around does the same to my right leg after a while-sometimes this seems to originate from lower pelvic region/groin area-something new there too! I have had a CT abdominal scan and everything is normal except for a cyst on a "tube"-that's what I was told.

Thanks for you comments. Your time is appreciated.
I do have a question: Could this also be an MS related thing? Am seeing a neurologist b/c I have many similar symptoms as my 22 year old who was diagnosed with MS aoubt 6 years ago.
I will mention it to the doctor (at the risk of having him roll his eyes at me...again! lol Seriously, I am not a complainer and I wish the doc would get that through his head. If I mention something it's because it really, really bothers me, I'm not just making conversation!)
I am seeing the same neurologist (only 1x so far) as my daughter. He is a great guy-even phoned me at home on a friday evening to discuss my meds. Anyway, I am slated for an MRI but don't have a date yet.
I will let you know, thanks.
have a nice day.

Hello,

Without examination ,confirming a diagnosis is tough but it can be due to disorder in the spine.Various spinal pathologies like spinal stenosis, degenerative disease of the spine, prolapse and compression of the nerve can cause such symptoms.Another important possibility is multiple myeloma.

Multiple myeloma (also known as myeloma or plasma cell myeloma) is a progressive hematologic (blood) disease. It is a cancer of the plasma cell. A common early symptom of multiple myeloma is pain in the lower back or in the ribs.Diagnosed by complete blood count(may show a low white or red blood cell count),complete urine examination(elevated proteins and Bence Jones proteins are typical.) , serum and urine electrophoresis , ionized calcium levels in blood and urine,x-rays bones and bone marrow aspiration and biopsy.

Pls discuss these possibilities with your doctor and get yourself thoroughly investigated.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.
