What's Wrong?

I have a few odd symptoms that continue to be showing up together. It always starts with a headache and I have shortness of breathe and extremely sharp stabbing pains in my chest. When this happens I have a great deal of trouble breathing. Also, I get this pain that starts near my groin and works its way down my left thigh (muscle) and into my knee cap (feels like it locks) and continues to my ankle and my foot become limp. Now my uncle has a serve blood clotting disorder (apparently it is passed on genetically) and I am concerned that I may have a blood clot. I have also been using some type of birth control continuiously for the last 10 years and currently have an IUD implant. Is it possible that these symptoms are from a blood clot??

It's possible. Could be anxiety too. Since you have a family history of a clotting disorder, you need to have it checked by a doc to be sure. Does your IUD release hormones? Not a good thing for someone who may be prone to clotting. You need to find out what type of clotting disorder. A lot of them only affect men. If that's the case, you couldn't have it. The things that's worrysome to me is the fact that your ankle and foot to go limp. Sounds like something is affecting a nerve.
