Where is this Pelvic Pain coming from?

Hello I am a 20 year old female and I've been suffering of pelvic pain for about 2 1/2 years since I gave birth to my daughter. It is very strange because it is not only pelvic pain that I feel, I also feel pain in other parts of my body. The pain is always there but sometimes it is horrible that I have to lay in bed till it soothes. I cannot use tampons because the pain is just unexplaining while I put it in. During sexual intercourse, seems like the "penis" reaches to a certain area that causes me to feel a very sharp pain. I believe this pain is coming from my cervix. Also when I push as if having a "bowel movement" I feel as if my organs (or should I say ovaries) get bloaded and that causes tons of pain. I also get these really weird sharp pains through my rectum, happens mostly during my period, but as I sit or make a rough movement while seeting the sharp stabbing pain happens and I have to sit still until it starts to go away.. does that have to do with my pelvic pain? All this causes a horrible back ache DAY AND NIGHT! ): Well my question is if this is serious problem? I am now getting checked but until I find out what is it I want to stop worrying of it being something SERIOUS! as of "Pelvic Inflammatory disease" "Cervical Cancer".ect.... I am really scared! HELLLLLLLLP???!! (:

Wow really? Thank you so much I'll talk to my doctor about it. And yes I do have very painful periods. I did get an ultrasound though and everything was normal. But I do hope they can give me an answer soon and get it solved. Thank you sooo much!

btw if it is endo..it more than likely wont show up on ultrasound unless its a stage 3 or 4..but stage one can be just as or more painful its just harder to detect

Hope you are feeling better. If I were you, I would ask my doctor to send me off to get an ultrasound.  Its a good idea t start with a pap test but an ultrasound will show if there are any abnormalities within your pelvic area.  Take care of yourself and all the best to you.

Hi, thank you for replying but no I have not yet been checked out for that. Were starting by checking the simple stuff.. starting off by getting a pap smear. After that we'll see how that goes. I've told my doctor everything I feel but she looks baffled and doesnt have a clue to what it could be. I've searched for different diseases and infections and the one I am most terrified is Pelvic Inflammatory disease... I really doubt it could be the pubic bone. The pain wasn't that bad when I first gave birth. it would hurt here and then not very often but lately it is an everyday thing. I might just head over to the ER maybe they'll do something. Thank you much (:

Have you been checked out for Pelvis Inflammatory Disease? It seems they would have caught something that serious at your 6 weeks checkup after your baby. When I was pregnant with my third child 4 years ago, she ripped the cardalage in my pubic bone and I could barely walk from the time I was about 6 months pregnant to a few months after she was born. I still ache from it at times but nothing like back then. That could have possibly happened with you. You should discuss it with your doctor.
