Why does warm water make my soles of my feet turn blue?

For the last year I have noticed that my feet feel extra sensitive and almost burn even in mildy warm bath/shower water. Looking at them I noticed that the soles only turn purple when they are warm and then go back to normal. I’m thinking it’s vasodilation related but have never heard of this or seen it before. My hands do not do this. I had a lower leg venous ultrasound that was normal. Let me know if you have any ideas.
