You either have a bad soft tissue injury, a bruise, a contusion or a chip or hairline fracture at the point above the elbow where it is paining, since you have been hit by a sharp injury.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by probably X-ray of the upper arm. You may apply heat pack and local analgesic and see if it helps. Take care!
could be a chipped bone. But in some cases carporalltunnel thats been laying domant .This is caused by inflamed nerve endings in muscle tissue. especialy if you use vibrating tools alot ..such as sanders .chainsaws.
