are you under any stress? Gone thru menopause yet?
I have had similar instances when I am feeling stressed out. For example, I have to punch in an alarm code to disarm the alarm when I get to work. I have had the same # for FIVE YEARS. The other day I went blank and had to call the alarm company. It is very embarrasing. Also have done things like start to put the coffee pot in the refridgerator instead of back where it goes, can't remember peoples names when I see them nearly every day, panic over if I turned the curling iron off or not, can't remember if I put out a candle, locked the door, mailed the bills out, etc............... sometimes I think I have early onset Alzheimers. The other day I couldn't think how to turn the shower faucet off!!!!!!!!
hope you find out whats going on with you, it seems to get worse.....you are certainly not alone....
I can only tell you that similar episodes happened to me in the past few months, sometimes I looked so ridiculously dumb they thought I was taking the ****.
in my case I believe it was neurological triggered by some strange infection.
all this was preceded by headache and "water" leaking from the nose. I must say that I would not even remember that if I hadn't been keeping a log for the past year. I suggest to you to do the same, take note of the event and start a log.
do you have weakness, coordination issues? loss of visual field, peripheral vision? did you have urinary tract infections?
one thing you could do is Complete Blood Count, esy, liver enzymes.
Have you ever had an addiction to psychedelics? If so there might be a mental issue. If not it was just a gap of knowledge that you easily remembered with the help of another stay calm and do not fret.
