Thank you ....
for your reply, doc is doing some blood work , I think I have polymyositis, was supposedly diagnosed about 20 yrs ago. But don't remember if he did test ..Think he was just assuming, but I think he may be right.  But all that I read about polymyositis, nobody complains about the burning.  I am going through menopause, for last 7 or 8 yrs.  But you know how it is if you go to ER they think your under stress, on ER doc said we treat pain not burning, only did a urine test to test for diabetes, its very frustrating when no one know what you are talking about or going through , makes you wish they would experience it .  take care

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so unwell.

I agree with your reply to face1212, what's the point of leaving a message with no advice at all!

My advice, if you have not already done so, is to see your doctor for a full medical assessment as soon as possible.

I see that you are 58 and presume that you have passed the menopausal phase of your life.  If not, then it may be connected to that.

What springs to mind as you are describing all these symptoms is that this may be an influenza virus or possibly an infection somewhere in your body.  As you have chest pain, this could be from your heart muscle or from congestion of the lungs.  That is why you need to be seen by a medical professional as soon as possible.

The doctor also needs to take a reading of your blood pressure.  Infections in the body can raise the blood pressure sometimes though.

In the meantime, take things easy and try and relax and take some pain relief in the recommended dosage and drink plenty of water so that you do not get dehydrated.

If the burning sensations were just in the face I would say that you have Rosacea, but there are too many issues going on at the moment in your body, that I feel you need urgent investigation and appropriate treatment.

Hope you get on alright, please let me know how you get on.

Best wishes.
