It sounds like you have pleuritic pain, which is usually caused by inflammation around the lungs -- could be related to fluid buildup (pleural effusion), a systemic disease (lupus), blood clot (pulmonary embolus), or just a run-of-the-mill viral infection. If it persists, it is probably worthwhile to see a doctor to be checked out.
