consistant soar throat for over 3

ive had a soar throat on my left side for about 3 4 months now i cant stand it i cant take it no more ive been to the doctors and a ent i had culture swab test it was normal i had a endoscopy when they stuck the camera in my left nostril it wouldnt go and when they stuck in my right nostril they said everything look normal except there was alot of mucus and my throat was inflamed so they told me the cause of my soar throat was that i had a deviated septum and post nasal drip which is causing a infection so they gave me a injection which actually made it better and made the swollen go down a lot but not completely for about a day before it started comming back and he also prescribed omnicef which i was supposed to start taking 15 days after but since the injection wore off so quick which he said was supposed to last  15 days i started taking them but they didnt do crap so now im just so discouraged i feel like im never going to get better and i might as well get used to it but its so uncomfertable could this really be from a deviated septum??? should i look into getting my nose operated will this even fix it after reading about so may different stories that people cant even get diagnosed my moral is on the floor so discouraged

Hi Christine, well i havent seen a allergist but i do have a appointment with my ent in two weeks and i will let him know if he can refer me to allergist this is really starting to scare me and dont have any other symptoms except the sore throat but its getting worse its already going on 5 months and whatever i have is not normal i was reading about tumors in tonsils i read there asymetrical and there is no symptoms and my left tonsil is huge on the bottom it looks asymetrical but when my dr did the culture swab the first time he guaranteed it was not cancer and said it came back normal so then i went to the ent and they did the endoscopy he said it was cause i had a deviated septum but its so bad at night im scared and hopeless that im never getting better or that it might be something really bad but thanks for the tip i am for sure going to go to a allergist.

Have you seen an allergist? I think you need to go back to the doctor and let him/her know how the new medication is working.
