Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Elevated WBC or leukocytosis may be caused by several conditions including bacterial infection, inflammation, leukemia, lymphoma, trauma, use of certain drugs (steroids, antiseizure medications), myeloproliferative disorders of the bone marrow (chronic myelogenous leukemia, polycythemia vera, myelofibrosis, essential thrombocythemia), inflammatory bowel disorders (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), burns or stress (physical or emotional).  Depending on symptoms further evaluation will be required. In your girlfriend’s case it could be allergy and inflammation causing this problem. If she has gut problems too then it could be any inflammatory bowel disorder.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Take care!

Not sure about the b-complex problem, but high wbc signifies either an infection or imflammation somewhere in the body. Your doctor should know this and do further testing.
