fever
my son is 4 years old and has had a high fever off and on fr the last 5 days, i'm worried because it gets up to 107.8, we;ve done sponge baths and everything, has'nt eaten enough for a bird, just drinking like he dying of thirst. what should i do, his doctor does;nt want to see him fill friday, what should i do?

A fever of 107.8 degree farenheit is abnormally high for a child and can cause serious problems. Please rush to the ER and get this evaluated. Either the fever medicine dose is not enough or he has some serious infection, viral/bacterial.
