fingernail help asap

I am a 50 yr old female and my fingernails are curling over. This started when I had my thyroid remove due to cancer. All my bloodwork, which is done every 6 weeks, comes back normal. I have no heart problems, no ashma or lung problems. I have asked all my doctors but nobody can tell me why this is happening or what can be done about it. What next?

This is common among those with COPD and cardiac problems.  Which you don't seem to have. The etiology seems to be ischemia - that is a lack of circulating oxygen over a long period of time. But there may, in fact be other causes. The next time you have a physical suggest an arterial blood gas, which would be definitive.
