Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Though a small pea size lump may not be anything serious, it is best to get this evaluated and confirmed before you leave it alone. It can be a cyst or a swollen lymph node (due to dental infection, dermatitis, dandruff or TMJ as you are otherwise healthy) which can be known by a CT scan. It can also be a neurofibroma (collection of nerve and fiber). Generally small pea sized lumps with well defined borders are not cancerous.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination. Take care!

yes you should seek advice from your gp as it could be infected or a hair folical which can produce a boil please see gp if no change.
