kidney infection

Is there anything to clear up a kidney infection without going to the doctor? I am prone to UTI and I have had 1 kidney infection before. Well I am having the same symptoms and pain again. I don't have insurance. I know I should go see the doc but I just  don't have the money to. Any suggestions would be great!

TRY BUYING SOME CRANBERRY PILLS. IVE HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. IF U ARE SEXUALLY ACTIVE AND ARE USING CONDOMS U MAY BE HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTIC. ONCE I STOPPED USING THEM MY UTI'S DISSAPEARED AS WELL. SO TRY CRANBERRY PILLS OR DRINK ALOT OF CRANBERRY JUICE ITS SUPPOSE TO CLEAN OUT UR URINARY TRACT...I DID THIS ONCE WEN I HAD A KIDNEY INFECTION IT HELPED A LITTLE BUT I STILL HAD TO GO AND GET ANITBIOTICS. YOU BETTER GO ASAP CUZ THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE MORE DAMAGING IT CAN BE. I WAS ALMOST HOSPITALIZED...SO YEAH U MIGHT WANT TO GO TO A DOC!

I'm prone to kidney infections too. There's medcations that you can buy in a store like Wal-Mart for example. There's Azo and a couple others. Good luck!

Antibiotics are your only choice. You could actually endanger your life by not treating a kidney infection. You can also cause permanent damage to your kidneys. If you have a regular Dr., just see if they'll call in a prescription for you. If not, do you qualify for medicaid? Can you pay cash? some Dr.'s give a discount for cash. There may also be a free clinic in your area. If you are a college student, you can go to student health services, and ask for help ther. Even if you don't have $$$, an ER has to treat you. Don't let this go.
