leg uncordination and full lower body pain

i have uncordinated legs one with over reactivity and the other with none at all i cant balance and i cant control my feet while walking. i have complete numbness from the lower back  down  i feel temp but not touch i have pain in all my joints and my knees and ankles give out when ever they want to. i cant drive cause i cant find the pedals or keep pressure on them.and i have to manually move my left leg up or down and guide the right. im only 21 i have been to a PVD and have had a MRI and five vials for blood work and im due to see a neurologist this coming monday. i used to do ballet so balance should not be an issue and im taking two vitamins i have a heart problem as well. i also have immense pain in my lower back like it is going to snap or compound itself. the doctor said in his 28 years of experience he has never seen anything like this.

well update time started taking 100mg of steroids and drop ten mg every three days im on my first of 80mg a day and so far things are going good im regaining the feeling in my feet and walking without the the walker which saves my wrists. i have regained a little control on my fingers.so things are getting better.now down side of magic pills:
1. the amount needed every day and the fact that hey dissolve so fast ...nasty.
2.i have to take a prescription stomach liner 30 min before and its horse pill sized
3.  i do not sleep now i rest my eyes at night and if im lucky i might get an hour of sleep,
4.why does this medication make me have to pee every fifteen min which also adds to the no sleeping.
5.hello puberty again im broke out more now than i ever was in high school.
6.im emasculating my boyfriend cause i can out eat him and still be hungry ten min later.
7..........
this is my mornings
6:00 wake up me and him he goes to work and depending if my boss was using his head when making my pitiful schedule i catch a ride to work and wait till i have to clock in usually three hours later.
7:30 take pink stomach liner
8:00 take steroids and eat a big breakfast
take vitamin and then away i go buzzing and i usually crash about 11 at night. and eating every salty snack in sight...why salty? who knows i have a bad sweet tooth and was never big on the salty stuff but thats all i crave now.
so there you go 1900 med bill, two diff installment plans, short hours, three months later, and finally im seeing some light so next is getting funds for either fall semester or a much over due heart check up/eye check up. if any body knows a fairy godmother send her my way please.

well add: uncontrollable bowels and urinary.
full left leg in sitting position will starting bouncing as if i was impatient i dont feel it but i have to manually lift the leg up and put pressure under the knee and that usually stops it.
almost full right pinky finger loss of motor activity and the ring finger is following suit.
i still have a neurologist appointment on the 29th so fingers crossed and any other help is much appreciated.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Your symptoms are quite suggestive of transverse myelitis with pain in back and numbness below a particular level with loss of sensation and motor activity. A spinal tap can be diagnostic. Steroids are the main stay of treatment. Please take a second opinion from a neurologist, another one if you are already seeing one.
Take care!
