light headedness AFTER coming to a stop

I'm 34, male, slightly overweight.  For the last month, I've had the weird sensation of feeling really faint when I come to a STOP after walking a short distance.  While I'm walking, I'm completely fine.  I stop (like, waiting for an elevator), and then for at least 30 seconds, I feel like I might faint.

I had chest pains two months ago, followed by normal EKGs and a normal heart stress test.  I immediately stopped all caffeine and alcohol consumption, and with dr's approval stopped taking Crestor and Zetia.  Had LUQ pain & no normal bowel movements for a month (all gas/diarrhea), and had a colonoscopy and upper-endo, and tests for dehydration, liver, kidneys, pancreas, blood sugar, anemia, and carcinoid--they've all been normal/negative.

When the fainting symptoms started a month ago, I got my doctor's approval to stop Norvasc.

I've been under heavy stress (new job, move, etc.) and was treated successfully for depression in the past (2002) w/zoloft.  They think my bowel symptoms might be anxiety-based, so I've been on librax and zoloft for a week, and the bowel situation seems to be slightly improving.

But the faintness--I had that before restarting the librax/zoloft, for the last month.  I've had no fevers, and seem otherwise healthy.  I have no signs of ear infection, according to my dr.  I'm eating a little less than I used to, but have otherwise-healthy eating habits now.

The only other unusual thing I've noticed is my resting HR seems really low (48 BPM) for someone who's just in so-so shape.  I'm certain it was never that low before.

Any ideas?

48 bpm is pretty low.  That's Lance Armstrong like.  If you are some sort of endurace athelete maybe that's normal for you, otherwise I would think either you're not measuring your HR correctly, or that might be a clue to your light headedness.  I think normal resting HR for most people is in the 60-70 range.

Oh, also, thyroid and BP were also normal.
