ecographie needed,if internal organs are ok,abdominal wall is the problem, you need surgery to tighten the 4 muscles involved

I understand completely what you are goind through.  I am 32 years old and am soo tired of people asking me when I am due.  I appear to be at least 5 or 6 months pregnant.  I thought it was just weight gain, but it is all in the ab.  About a year ago I had a complete scraping of the uterine wall because of abnormal periods.  I was told by one doctor that I had golf ball size fibroids (2) to be exact... but upon review by my newest doctor, they stated they couldn't find any.  I've never known fibroids to just disappear and they were very clear on my first ultrasound, but suddenly were gone.  I believe they are still there and that they are just hiding behind something making it difficult to see them and that they are what is causing my bloating.  I've been what I call a lab rat for the past 2yrs almost and still no explanation as to what is going on.   I just hope that there is a doctor out there willing to go the extra mile and help us women.  God Bless you and I trully hope ;you find your answers.

You could be allergic to wheat or gluten.  Stay off them for a couple of weeks and see if you notice a difference in the bloating.
It could be hormonal.  If it is a fibroid tumor, try progesterone cream, it is know to shrink them.  Look at Dr. John Lee's book on it's use.
It could be a thyroid or adrenal gland problem.

I have had the same problems. I finally made my doctor send me for a vaginal ultrasound and it turned out that I have a fibroid tumor and the beginnings of endometriosis. I would find out if your mother had any of these same symptoms. My mother had to have a complete hysterectomy when she was only 40 because of fibroid tumors. By the time she found them, one was the same size as my 5 month old fetus at the time. They were the same size in their ultrasounds.

Fibroids can also make you appear to be up to 12 weeks pregnant. You should research it...they can wweigh a lot as well. My mom's largest was close to 9 pounds.

ovarian cyst? i'm quite like you expect it was basically over night!!! in 12/01 i felt a lump in my stomach but was afriad i was pregnant and basically ingnored it.. but only to find out that two months later and on valentine's day i would end up in the ER. that day i experinced very pain abdominal pain, i really hate going to the doctor's office but ended up going at last... my doctor ran several pregnancy test on me but they all came back negative!!! desperate to find out he sent me to a local hospital.  there they ran several pregnancy tests again only to get the same results.  with the bump inside me they didn't want to do a CT Scan so they gave me a month's worth of pain killers and sent me home.  thinking i was pregnant they scheduled me for an ultrasound two weeks later.  at that time i went back they couldn't find anything wrong and sent me back home.  another two weeks went by and i ran out of my pain killers, desperate and in pain again i went to my family doctor who couldn't and wouldn't prescribe me anymore.  that night i ended up in the ER again but was sent home only after a shot of ??? (notsure), next night i came back only with abdominal pain, high fever and vomitting like crazy, same thing, gave me a shot and sent me home, thrid night came i went in and looked seven months pregnant, sicker than a dog and barely able to move or walk.. FINALLY i got a CT Scan and discovered it was a cyst the size of a basketball!!! ofcoursed they by now they've all freaked out too and scheduleld me for an ultrasound and surgery.  i finally understood the pain i was having and lost also my right ovary.  i was curious as to why my stomach was growing to the left but painful on the right.. turns out the cyst had wrapped around my right ovary and with no more room for it shifted to the left!!!  it was a relief to get rid of it but now i had a big fat scar on my stomach that i can't get rid of... those three nights that i went to the hospital if they would've just given me a CT Scan earlier after all those pregnancy test they would have discovered that it wasn't a baby and it could have procedure laprascopic!

I know someone with the same symptoms that has Celiacs Disease. I am not sure if you can have sudden onset after birth or trauma to the body. I would definately check it out. It too can make your belly swell and look bloated. Copy and paste the link below and this will lead you to a website that is very informative. Hope this helps!

I have the same problem, but for me I also got alot of pain in my entire body along with it. Ive had this problem for 5 years now,and the docs dont know whats wrong. Mine started about 2 years after my son was born.( I lost the pregnancy weight, and had some excess skin on my belly.) Well in 2 months  i went from a size 26 waist to a 36 waist. My belly was huge, and everyone asked me when i was due! My shoulder area looked more like a football player, and my face looked swollen. The rest of my body is skinny. I have a funny looking shape!

I thought for a long time i have cushing's, but i have not been able to get that diagnosis from any of the doctors.

Anyhow i have been living in pain for 5 years now. I can no longer go out and do anything. I hope you are not way too.

I would love to share this website to everyone. So many doctors look over this disease.   www.cushings-help.com

If you feel any pain or bloating, I'd get it checked. A friend of mine went months like this before they finally checked her and discovered a tumor. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm sure it's just baby weight. Still it can't hurt to get everything checked out.
