Thanks!!! and actually thats actually what i assumed when i first saw them and I actually tried Clotrimazole 1%, Miconazole nitrate 2%. It was when that didn't work and the marks grew that I decided to go to the doctor... the doctor states they look like stretch marks.... but see they arent like the typical lines some are like half an inch wide and the skin there is really thin so thin i feel an indentation on my skin.... and My job consist of me sitting in front of a computer and typing and I live don't live a strenuous life.... but thank you for your feedback any feedback at all at this point is alot of help.... I think I'm going back for a second time to see if the doctor gives me a different diagnosis...
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
One possibility is that the marks are due to fungal infection. Many treatment options are there like Clotrimazole 1%, Miconazole nitrate 2%, Tolnaftate 1% and Butenafine hydrochloride 1%. Many OTC products containing these salts are available, your pharmacist can help. Try a combination of two and apply until the marks you see disappear. Continue application for 2 weeks after the marks disappear.
If not, then these could be stretch marks due to muscle pull and strain. Maybe the kind of job you do involves too much stretching of legs.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
