my  husband awoke early this morning with very bad paid over left eye, he feels sick and cold, and cant finish a sentence, his mouth has not drooped, but he lifted a very heavy dresser top for my neighbour last night and I wondered whether he could have ruptured a blood vessel in his head.
Please help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
I hope you have seen a doctor by now. This looks like a mild case of transient ischemic attack or min stroke. It is possible your husband has high blood pressure.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Please get him to the ER asap.
This could be something serious and needs attention right away. Even if it turns out to be something not as serious it is always best to be safe first.
His symptoms are very alarming so please get him to a Docotr.
I hope all is well, let us know how he is doing:)

I hope all is well.  I have had migraines that have mimicked strokes.  The tempeture sensitivity is not something I have experienced with my migraines. Although the speech and drooping face has happened with my episodes.  Please let us know how he is.

Could be a number of things, but it definitely needs to be evaluated fast.  Call 911 so he can get into the ER more quickly than going yourself.

Please let us know how this turns out.

I don't know what it could be, but my husband's ex recently died of a stroke at the tender age of 42. It wasn't her first, either. I would get my man in this very minute if he couldn't finish his sentences. That sounds major and life threatening. My husband is all I've got when all is said and done, and I'll bet yours is, too.
