multiple vision issues, headaches, smells, vertigo

I am a healthy 31 year old female, 6 months post partum. 4 months ago I started experiencing my right eye getting veryvery red for no apparent reason. It would come and go with no other issues. After a few weeks my eye started feeling 'heavy' (eye ball not eye lid) and vision would randomly start getting blurry and then clear again. This happened multiple times a day and then started in the other eye too. Sometimes both eyes at the same time, sometimes one or the other. Headaches started happening daily. After nearly two months of it gradually getting worse I went to my gen pract. She ruled out everything she could think of and thought perhaps it was glaucoma and sent me to a ophthalmologist. The only thing they found was a mild astigmatism in both eyes and far sighted. I got glasses and the redness went away. The headaches did not.
My eyes have continued to get bother me. I can't find a pattern to it. One eye our the other or both. It can switch multiple times throughout the day. Visual issues range from blurry to foggy to double (double has only been experienced in left eye and was side by side not on top). Headaches still come and go.
I went back to the doc last week because it is still going on. I asked for blood tests and for a antibiotic to see if maybe it was a weird sinus infection. Blood tests showed my platelet count was a little higher than normal (410) but I think everything else was within normal limits. Thyroid normal. B12 normal. She is stumped by the irregularity of jumping from one eye to the other. Referred me to a neurologist. Appt next week.
I started taking the antibiotics and a few days later started having copious amounts of snot coming out. Thinking it was a sinus infection I called and told her and she ordered more antibiotics for me. Turns out I just had caught a cold at the docs office. Going to finish them as prescribed though. Yesterday I had what I think is a ocular migraine (jagged kaleidoscope thing that grows in your vision) followed by a mild headache. Last night I started feeling vertigo sensations and smelling a dusty-mildly-metallic smell and was very disoriented...and a little paranoid thinking/convinced we had carbon monoxide leading in the house. Today the vertigo and smell had been coming and going going, bad at times. Vision still a constant weirdness.
Any one had issues with this type vision experiences, especially with any of these other symptoms?

Hi. First question, when was the last time you seen a dentist, and did you have any dental work done? Strange as it may seems but thosr were the first symptoms I had after mercury poisoning from mercury amalgam. Any dentist who messes with your teeth, even cleaning them, can disrupt mercury amalgam that was an common components placed inside cavities. Do you have any? Were any teeth pulled? An holistic ND can give you the coreect test to rule out any of these. Drdata online medical test suppliers can help with strict budgets. $35 usually to find out what you may have too much of of not enough of that your body naturally has. Good luck. Peace
