I am getting an MRI on the 9th....I hope this helps resolve my issues...I thank you for your concern and help and I will post my results...

Originally the Endo thought it was Thyroiditis, results were negative for thyroid, I've had an Xray of the C-spine, ultrasound of thyroid which did show some cysts and a nodule but the Endo said those were small and shouldn't be causing any problems.
I am now scheduled to see a ENT, but I also called my doctor again to see about referring to an orthopaedician. The pain is pretty bad today...it feels as though I'm having something poking at my neck and almost like my glands are swollen and painful..... I'm so worried I don't know what to think, this has been going on for almost 2 months now.
Hello,
Neck pain can be due to many causes. It can be due to injury, a mechanical or muscular problem, a trapped nerve caused by a bulge in one of the discs between the vertebrae, or from arthritis of the neck.
Sometimes it can be due to slipped disc, brittle bones (osteoporosis), deformed natural curvature of the spine (scoliosis) and, very rarely, structural damage due to tumors or infection.
I think that physical examination by an orthopaedician and X-Ray neck or MRI neck are required for a confirmatory diagnosis.Pls consult an orthopaedician for this.
Take care and pls do keep us posted on how you are doing.
