GERD - can cause nausea and vomiting and the feeling in your throat, not sure about the dizziness

Migraines - maybe but the choking you around the neck symptom is not a typical migraine symptom and dizziness is probably more uncommon in migraines than it is common, but nausea definitely and heart pain no.  I get migraines and have never had the choking or heart pains with nausea;  One way you would know migraine is if you got the aura before the migraine.  The aura I get is like the flashing lights in a disco ball and it's a great thing for me because I know I have 30 minutes before the massive pain hits and I stop what I'm doing immediately and take medication -- the sooner the better

Anemia - not the choking, but anemia can cause every other symptom you mentioned and it has to be tested through a CBC as well as by testing Ferritin levels because CBCs cannot always diagnose the most severe anemia which is through testing the Ferritin levels.

Thyroid problems can cause all of your symptoms.

I would see and endocrinologist and a heart specialist and definitely get checked for vitamin B12, Vitamin D and Iron deficiencies.

You should also have a treadmill test done on your heart.  That test will show how your heart reacts under stress. It's a very important diagnostic test.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Thanks for the post! How are you now?

The symptoms ‘choking me around the neck with severe dizziness and nausea’ could be the warning symptoms of headache especially migraine. It could also be a part of tension headache. You could discuss with your doctor and start medicines for migraine. If you feel better, the diagnosis is confirmed. Do you have a family history of migraine?

Did you have MRI of cervical spine or brain? Spondylitis also causes similar symptoms. Meniere’s disease of the ear should also be ruled out.

Severe stress and anxiety too causes similar symptoms. However heart symptoms should not be ignored. Since ECG was normal, maybe a 24 hour holter heart monitoring can be done. High blood pressure should be ruled out.

I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining and results of various tests. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
