Hyperthyroidism? Too much Coffee? Low b-12 levels?
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There is a possibility that you have a sleep disorder, and that you clench your jaw at night. This can make you feel the symptoms you are having. Involuntary clenching of teeth at night during sleep or bruxism is the most common sleep disorder. It is aggravated during periods of stress and by presence of worms in gut (can be diagnosed by a stool test).
Treatment is a combination of night guard, relaxation techniques, de worming, breathing techniques etc.
It can also be due to temproromandibular joint disorder or TMJ, but less likely, as this happens while chewing or opening your mouth—you feel tightness or pain.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
Sounds like you need to go see a cardiologist.
Tight Jaws....nervousness, heart fluttering....all symptoms of a heart attack.
I had the same in 2009...ended up having a heart attack because I didn't know the symptoms. They seem to be different for men and women, but it's nothing to take lightly.
Best of luck to you
How about a good old case of anxiety? Is there something bothering you? Most people with anxiety have trouble sleeping, clench their jaws at night (I know I do), have a rapid heart beat at times, and of course the biggie nervousness.
