not just my stomach?

went to gp again today to ask for a referral to gynaecologist cos berlieve i have an ovarian cyst(reason why am i am gaining weight ).he said he cant do that and he wont arrange for any more scans.not get any sleep at night cos of discomfort in abdomen and pressure pain all around ribs,i cannot do everyday things all i can feel is pressure in my tummy and clothes are now getting tighter .i hardly go out -only to walk my dogs and cannot go out without a coat on to hide my stomach.abdomen is more swollen by anotehr 2-3 ".siad i never feel hungry and can only eat small amount of dinner at lunch time and not eat anything else for rest of day.after eating today so much pain-feels like my stomach is going to explode.cannot cope with pain anymore.Dr said it is just my stomach not an ovarian cyst.my stomach is getting bigger every day so must be something.crying whole time .dr also said taht when i had operation fro stress incontinence the gynecologist wa salso checking my ovaries btu this was not mentioned to me at anytime by DR or gynaecologist.

You might need to see a kidney doctor.  If your adrenals aren't working right you could have Cushings.  It causes the stomach to swell and you get horrible dark stretch marks caused from too much cortisol as the adrenal glands don't work right.  Hope you find a Dr. that helps soon!!

thats what i thought i have a right to request a referral.will look one up online if i dont have any joy tomorrow.my brother says he will take me to see a private Dr if i want to.

i did go to A&E(ER)ontuesday complaining of a tightening pain in my ribs and in my groin and legs.spent 5 hours at hte hospital and gto as far as the DR asking me why i htought i had a cyst. i know I have if nothing else just fromthe size of my abdomen and the fact that it is a solid mass and lumpy and sore,an abdominal xray was clear so they said but i didnt see the results of xray.as my brother took me to A&E had to leave at 5pm as he had a meeting and it takes an hour to get home plus anotehr half hour for him to et home rom mine.have made an appt to see a different DR tomorrow and hope i get somewhere but this DR wa ssitting in on my last appt with my own DR last week.so dont knwo if i will get anywhere.

wow, ok... i really think you need to go to either the emergency room or a different Dr. or at least get a second opinion, because this sounds like it could be serious (i am not a Dr. though). And it seems like your Dr. is not taking it seriously or doing the right things. I wish i could be of more help...good luck.

Go to the gyno.... they will get you checked out, thats  what i had to do... i had issues and had to have surgery  my cyst were hugeeee........its not any fun.... if you dont have a  gyno ask  a friend.... or look one up on line... you have to  get checked out..... just do it.. report your dr  cuz that is not right.. he should send you to the gyno like you asked!!
