Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you have pain while ascending stairs then you have to rule out unstable angina. Resting EKG or ECG will be normal. A TMT or tread mill test will have to be done. If this has been done then, gastric reflux, hiatal hernia and pinched nerves will have to be ruled out and so also hyperthyroidism.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!

you might look into the possibility of a pinched nerve. Feel on your feet and leeg and see if you can find any sore spots or abnormalities or you might go see a chiropractor.
