painful urination, itchy scalp, swollen tonsils and glands, sensitive penis, bad gums

I have been to the doctor and was told to 'see how it goes', it was very unhappy with how rushed the appointment was and it seemed he wanted to get through the patients as quick as possible, so i thought id ask here as im in alot of pain.

it started about 10 days ago, it was very painful to urinate (no discharge or redness) there was also a small spot on the head of my penis. both those symptoms cleared up after about 4 days, however as they cleared the glands in my neck swelled up, and resulted in my tonsils becoming very inflamed and excruciatingly painful.

I dont have a fever but throughout the ordeal ive felt run down, hot and clammy. I also have a few spots on my scalp appear that are quite itchy.

in the last 2 days the gums around my front bottom teach have become inflamed and tender.

my penis and the area around it today has become sensitive to touch, not painful as such but just very sensitive.

the timescale is.... day 1 - 4 painful urination and spot (both seem to have cleared) day 3-5 swollen and tender glands, day 5 to 10 swollen and painful tonsils, day 8 - 10 sore and swollen gums, day 10 sensitive penis.
