HI there is a condition called Ehlers-Danlos...there r different levels or sub groups within the name with different areas being affected.

We do have a EDS group here and there is info available via that group as to what EDS is...but we tend to bruise easy, slow to heal and hyper flexible joints that will pop in and out of joint.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Cracking or popping sound is due to arthritis of shoulder joint. The other possibility is rotator cuff injury. You will need an X-Ray and a MRI of the shoulder joint. Please consult an orthopedic doctor.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
