recurrent fever

I have been running a low grade fever for 6 weeks, i have been very tired, lost about 20lbs and ive been to four different doctors with no luck of figuring out what is wrong with me. They removed my appendix due to an increased wbc which is currently normal. does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

What kind of tests have they ran so far? Have they checked you for anything like mono or other infections like that?
