recurring symptoms

We have a nine year old son who every 4-6 weeks, for the last sixteen months will get a headache behind the eyes and a fever ranging from 102 -104.  Many times this is accompanied by a sore throat.  These symptoms will usually last for 2-3 days. During this 2-3 day period his fever will spike at 103 and sometimes 104.  We use fever reducing medicines to treat him.  We have taken him in to a Dr. several times and blood tests don't show anything.  What could be causing this? A virus of some sort?  This recurring pattern concerns us and we're not sure what it could be or if we need to pursue further medical tests.

We should also note he has had two seizures in the past two years and is on medicine for this and mold allergies.

I would take him back to the doctor. It could be a sinus or adnoid infection Your right the reocurring of the symptoms is cause for concern, . An infection may or may not show up in the bloodwork.
