so many symptoms....

I have been feeling many of these symptoms since Last year.  I have numb spots on my head sometimes, Neck stiffness, fuzzy head feeling, dizziness, a lot of time i am fatigued.  I get so miserable sometimes I cant even work, or make dinner.  It is really lousy.  I have been to two doctors (the first one wrote it off as anxiety) so I went to the next, we have done 3 cbc tests, an ESR/CRP, Thyroid, Blood sugar...and many more. All normal.  I have had 2 CT's, a CT of the Abdomen, an MRI, which showed a slight Chiari 1 malformation, (6 mm) and I am scheduled to have  CSF flow study, but the fluid does not look blocked on the original MRI, so i highly doubt any of my symptoms are due to CSF blockage. i think my back is seriously out of whack, but that would just cause pain??  My main symptom is fuzziness, sometimes hot flashes.  I am getting so frustrated sometimes it is even hard to have fun because i know the next minute i could be feeling lousy again.  I am 31, 5 children, (2 with me full time) and I am not overweight at all.  I went to my regular DR yesterday, and she said she didnt want to overmedicalize me, and wrote me a script for prozac,,,,???Prozac?  I am a happy person, and the only thing that is emotionaly weighing on me is my physical state.  ANYONE PLEASE help??

I have actually been thinking alot about this, because i do not use bluetooth or earbuds, and all my symptoms are on the left side of my head, which is the side i use the cell phone!  I need to try eliminating.  I have heard of electric hypersensitivity, and My symptoms to seem to be worse around the computer, work, lights, anything...maybe that is the answer, i will keep you updated, Thank you So much!!

Yes, I actually took the b-12 matter into my own hands, and started taking a sublingual 1000 mcg b-12, still, nothing.

Thanks you for your input!

Can you try for a different doctor?

You know after two years with strange symptoms and the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, and neuropathy by two different neurologist I was like you frustrated. For the last two years i have been to a kidney dr.,  two neurologists, endocrinologist (had entire thyroid removed) and my primary and no one could agree on a diagnosis or figure me out. The last straw with this group was when my primary offered me prozac, i vowed i would quit complaining and what ever happened to my body i would deal with it.  Family on the other hand thought different. Here are my symptoms: unexplained weight loss, constant urination, hip pain, neck pain (burning, stabbing) muscle loss in hips and thighs. Chest pains, (not a rapid HR) night sweats (not menopausal). Ears hurt deep in the inside, neck extremely tender under chin.
Went to a different doctor and in one month here is what she found and running tests that for the last two years the others never did.

Arthritis of the hips
Low on B12 & Vitamin D (taking b12 shots, and vitamin D
1" mass in the pelvis area (will discuss possible biopsy next week)
Inflamed neck arteries (will see cardiologist next week) On steroids for now.
Will have to have a sleep study done for my insomnia ( i have had since having hyperthyroidism in 1994)

Somtimes it is better to get a fresh look from a new doctor.  Don't give up like i almost did. Before i went to the new doctor I wrote a letter to her explaining everything and letting her know what all tests were done. I told her that if she thought she could help me fine, but if she thought i had tried every possiblity than to be honest with me and not waste my time or hers. She called and said she would take my case, and that we would start from scratch. Needless to say i do not have fibromyalgia or neuropahty. That was the best letter i ever wrote.

Don't give up.

The only suggestion I have is to ask your physician if he/she will order a vitamin B12 level on you. Symptoms of a vitamin B12 deficiency include:

Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Insomnia
Loss of memory
Dizziness
Lack of balance
Depression
Digestive problems
Dizziness
Liver enlargement
Eye problems
Headaches
Hallucinations
Inflamed tongue
Breathing difficulties
Loss of memory
Palpitations
Neurological damage
Tinitus or ringing in the ears
