MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Allergic rhinitis, anxiety and stress, infections like sinusitis, pharyngitis, or other upper respiratory infections are an important cause of night sweats. Other than that perimenopausal women often experience night sweats.

Other causes include tuberculosis, bacterial infections, abscesses, osteomyelitis, hormone disorders like carcinoid syndrome and hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia (low blood glucose) and some neurologic conditions. Medications like aspirin, acetaminophen(Tylenol) ,niacin etc can sometimes cause night sweats.Try not taking Tylenol for some days and see if there is any relief from symptoms.

Keeping the bedroom cool can help with night sweats. Also, keeping ice water and a fan by the bed will help ease any episodes you get. Exercise can help with night sweats as well. Exercise raises endorphin levels, aids the hypothalamus, and decreases LH and FSH - all of which helps you avoid night sweats. Try to be stress and anxiety free before going to bed.

In case the symptoms worsen then pls get your thyroid hormones evaluated and consult a physician. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted in case you have any additional queries.Kind regards.

Google hyperhidrosis and read up on that. You didnt say if you sweat during the day, or if theres particular areas you sweat most... I have it myself and it really *****, but there are products ( OTC Drysol, Perspirex ect) that can help, I havent tried them yet cuz their a bit expensive but they have good reviews.. I also try to eat less salt, sugars, stinky stuff like onion and fats cuz they all seem to make me sweat more. I also sweat more when I'm cold oddly enough..Breathable cotton clothes and bedding could also help. Could you go into more detail about your trouble sleeping, and how much tylenol sinus are you taking? Hope this helps,  take care
