throat cancer?

Hi, I'm male 21 and a month a ago or so i have had this pain inside my neck at first i thought it was due to maybe a cold i had gotten better of but the cold and also diagnosed with bronchitis in the lungs is now long gone and i still continue to have pain in my throat lately i have notice recently i have to consistently clear my throat and notice wheezing and coughing but only a few times though put the day and sometimes i feel my voice change. It doesn't hurt when i swallow nor do i have trouble swallowing. The pain is coming from left side and i sometimes feel it on the right side though not as often as the left where i first felt it. Could it still the bronchitis? I hope...

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A constant feeling of phlegm in mouth or throat and persisting cough at times can be due to gastric reflux. Either you have a lax esophageal sphincter or hiatal hernia or severe acidity. Take a late night snack. Raise head end of bed. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks, caffeine, and spicy food. See if these tips help. If they do not help consult your doctor.
Take care!

While neoplasm is always a possibility, a 21 year old non-smoker would have me looking at a more probable cause.  I'd suggest a trip to an ENT doctor.   Many issues of the upper trachea can be visualized by and ENT with a mirror.  Since you work in a dusty environment, it could be a simple allergic reaction.  Have you tried some over the counter antihistamines like diphenhydramine, or loratadine?  If antihistamines were to clear things up, I'd think allergy.  I still think a trip to the ENT would e a good move.
