Hi,

I googled elevated protein levels and coughing up blood and came up with a number of hits on nephrotic syndome (e.g. http://www.kidney.org.uk/Medical-Info/kidney-disease/nephsyn_adult.html).  Is this something that has been considered?

I hope you start getting answers soon.  Good luck tomorrow.

Hi They didnt really say anything about the elevated protein levels other than they would like to retest in a few weeks. The professer I saw seemed more concerned about my abnormal lung function result and hence the bronchoscopy tomorrow plus a saltwash of my lungs whatever that is which will be sent to the lab. He also referred me to an ent surgeon Ive had quite a large lymph gland in my throat for 6 months or more and he said in his opinion it needed biopsy or removing altogether. Thanks for your helpful reply I will have alook at that link anyway. Not looking forward to tomorrow at all Hmm sounds horrible test but at least Ive got somewhere. Crystaly
