Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Vivid dreams at night can be due to stress and anxiety. If you are stressed out through the day, have some fear or anxiety due to something or have had a traumatic experience in the past then this could be the cause. It could also be due to disturbed sleep patterns. Take up yoga or meditation. Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet. Cut down on coffee and tea. Exercise regularly. If still the dreams persist consult a psychologist to analyze the cause. Take care!
Dreams can constitute from a wide range of things, from, medication, stress, change in your life, like moving, new job, or having a child, You are always most likely to remember your last dream clearly when you first wake up, but as the day wears on you forget it, Don't worry about it, like Rogelio63 suggested make a sleep journal, I also suggest when you go to bed, Turn off any TV's or Radio's and avoid eating 2-3 hours before bedtime, as these can all contribute to nightmares and odd dreams. hope this helps.
have you started a new medication or taken a street drug recently? Even tobacco use can change your dreams.
So these are dreams that you can remember easily when you wake? Do you write them down? Is there a central theme or emotion?
It may be due to medication, environment etc,,, but you should definitely keep a dream log if you are concerned about them. See if you can find a common thread. Let me know,,
