Hello,
Normal MRI and ophthalmic examination and having vomitings and headache are giving rise to the possibility of migraine headache.
Stress is one of the most important factors for the precipitation of migraine headaches. Migraine attacks commonly activate the sympathetic nervous system in the body. The increased sympathetic nervous activity in turn causes headaches, diarrhea, sensitivity to light and sound sensitivity as well as blurred vision.
Treatment of migraine involves using a cold compress to the area of pain, resting in a room with little or no sensory stimulation (light, sound, and odors), Withdrawing from stressful surroundings, and sleeping.Ask your friend to go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day. Exercise regularly (daily if possible). Also ask her to limit stress through regular exercise and relaxation techniques, avoid bright or flashing lights and wearing sunglasses if sunlight is a trigger, identify and avoid foods that trigger headaches by keeping a headache and food diary and limit caffeine consumption to less than two caffeine-containing beverages a day.
She can also try OTC pain killers like acetaminophen. If still the symptoms persist, then please consult a physician for specific anti-migraine therapy.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep us posted on how your friend is doing.
