what do i have?!

Hello,
I need some help determining my illness. I have had fevers about every five days a week now for three months. The neat part is, i can still go to school everyday because i only get the fevers in the evenings and they decrease as the night goes on. I am 15 and have had two blood tests taken and have been to a specialist. However, all that is found is that i have anemia, and now i'm on the iron pills [fun stuff]. But, i don't understand why i get 99.9 to 102.7 fevers almost every night. I get dizzy when i stand up, night sweats, mouth soars, and the chills. I just don't understand why i have to have a fever every night! Can someone please help me! My mother is worried sick and i'm starting to freek out as well.

Hi Katey-
I have never heard of anemia causing fevers. You should talk to your mom about seeing anothe doc.
Good Luck

Katey,
One of the things that may cause night sweats, fever of unknown origin, and anemia is Babesiosis.
Lymeinfo.net has a page of links for all sorts of tick borne infections:

Click on some of the links for Babesiosis, and read.

Wishing you the best,
Carol
