It could be a yeast infection. It is more common in women, but men can get them too. It can be passed back and forth from your partner to you, especially if she is prone to them. Its not an STD, its just a yeast that takes over all the "good" bacteria that keeps things balanced. I would go see your doc again and ask them if that is what it could be. Women are given cream inserts of oral pills. Not sure how men have it treated. Probably pills as well
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
White discharge from the penis can be smegma, which is a normal discharge. It can also be a fungal infection. If your partner has or had bacterial vaginosis then it can also linger in your case too. Both fungal infection and bacterial vaginosis can cause a foul smell. STD from gonococcal urethritis, which can persist for months after exposure, can also cause white discharge, but has been ruled out in your case. It can also be non gonococcal urethritis due to irritants like soaps and detergents.
You can discuss the other possibilities with your doctor and try treatment for those.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
