Hi Chattytalk

Sorry your having such a crummy time.
How frustrating not to get the answeres you need. I assume they have done tons of blood work.
The good thing is that they feel your brain CT looks normal and your blood and urine workups arent showing anything they believe to be a serious acute situation.
Obviously the bad news is that they have no idea what is causing these symptoms.
A virus can last for a while depending on what type of virus and how run down your body is(from not sleeping).
I'm not a DR but you may want to make an app with a Rhumatologist. Your symptoms seem systemic(thrughout your body). Many autoimmune conditions can present with pain, flu like symptoms and fever. Even lymes disease can cause these symptoms. Do you live in an area where a tick bite may be possible?
Is it a constant low grade fever or does it change from high to low and come and go(excuse the little rhyme)
You may want to also get some chamomile tea to help you sleep. Missing alot of sleep will run down your body and can lower your immune sysytem causing you to be sick more often. Sleep is your bodies best time for repair work because your not exerting yourself physically.
But as I've said I'm not a DR so If any of your symptoms become worse and your fever rises go back to the ER. Even if they dont but you feel uncomfortable with how your symptoms are effecting you go back.
It's always better to air on the side of caution.

I hope you can get some answeres soon and get rid of this crummy feeling.

Have you tried taking some paracetamol to reduce your fever and pain? Do you have any purple spots on your body? If you do you should get back to the ER and ask them to check you out again.
