I went to a second urologist today who checked for different stuff and trigger points which all came back fine. He did a pelvic exam and I asked him about the vulvadynia and he said it would hurt extremely bad when he did the exam or when I have sexual intercourse..which it did not. My question is he is wanting to do another surgery to look for himself for IC..but my other urologist that I went to the first time already did that and seen no signs of cracking or bleeding..also some things that I have don't add up with IC..for example when I go pee it doesnt relieve me..it actually hurts worse after I pee. Should I go ahead and do another surgery when I just had the same thing done two months ago?
Sorry to read of your problem. From you description, it appears you have burning around the urethral opening at the time of urination and on occasion without urination. Your cultures have been negative so an infection is not likely. Other possible causes are food allergies, even bottle water, ( look at IC diets), contact dermatitis, (soaps, detergents, fabric softeners, panty shields), or a condition called Vulvadynia. This condition is a chronic one that the cause is unknown. It is often treated with topical steroids. I would suggest you look for a doctor in your area that treats this condition and be evaluated.
