vaginal bacteria infection

My OBGYN diagnosed me 2 days ago with a bacterial infection in my vagina and prescribed me the CLINDESSE 2% vaginal cream which I used immediately. The odor, itchiness and discharge is going away but my clitoris is still very red, sore and has almost a cold sore type area on either sides of it. I asked my OBGYN to look at that when he examined me (he didn't say anything about it) and once he told me I just had a bacterial infection - I asked if that's all he  thought it was - and he said yes. I've never had my clitoris look like  this from anything. I'm afraid it's a cut on my clitoris that may be infected and not just a bacterial infection - only b/c everything I read doesn't list changes/inflamation/redness/etc of the clitoris as a side effect to a vaginal bacterial infection. Please clear up this concern for me. Thank you.

One week ago I was diagnosed with vaginal bacterial infection and bladder infection. I was given 2 antibiotics. One for bladder and one for vaginal. The vaginal was the on that you could not drink alcohol while you took it. I had intercourse after finished all medication. Now I have mild burning and pain again. Is that normal? I looked up symptoms of ovarian cancer and started getting concerned because I have had mild pain down my leg. I don't know if I am just not completely healed or what.
Thanks,
