Can you drink alcohol on nitrofur-macrobid 100mg?
It's not a good idea, the diuretic effect of the alcohol would cause the antibiotics to leave your body faster and it wouldn't be effective. With all the drug resistant bacteria out there I wouldn't take my chances.
I do know that drinking with some antibiotics can make you really sick, but I don't remember which ones.
If it's a celebration I would only have one if you decide to have any, if it's a party where everybody's drinking all night I would skip it.
